The Birth of Lord Krishna

The king of Mathura Raja Kansa was cruel. His sister’s name was Devaki and his brother-in-law’s name was Vashudeva. He killed their seven babies but the eighth son was born as Lord Krishna. All the prison opened after the birth of Lord Krishna so he took his son to Gokul in the family of his friend Nanda Baba and Yashoda Mata. Lord Krishna was brought up by Nand Baba in Gokul where he delighted everyone with his childhood antics.
